Why does my video appear jerky?

This usually happens when there is not enough available bandwidth somewhere between us and you. Unfortunately there is not much that can be done about this other than selecting a lower bandwidth stream. Other symptoms can be that you computer is simply too slow to handle the computing power necessary to play streaming media. One thing you can do is to view a video from another site. Go to www.windowsmedia.com or any of the other enterntainment sites that provide streaming media and see if you can play a video from there. If you still have problems, then the problem is with your computer or your connection. If you do not have problems. The problem could be with our servers, or the connection between us and you. Try a different video on our sites and see if that plays. If it does, then notify us. If it does not, you may want to wait a few minutes and try again.

I hear audio, but don't see any video.

The streaming media servers value audio more so than video. Think about it. Remember back in the 'good old days' when we used to watch tv from a broadcasted signal? Remember when the really cool families had an antennae that actually rotated? We could all tolerate a snowy picture, but if the audio was not there, we just couldn't make ourselves sit through the show no matter how bad we wanted to see it. The same works with streaming. If your computer cannot receive the full stream, for whatever reason listed above. The streaming servers will send less and less data preserving the audio until it can.

What formats can I upload to my on demand site?

Your video portal will support virtually any format available. We currently have streaming servers for Microsoft Windows Media, Real Server, and Apple's Quicktime. However, you may also upload other video files including MPEG 1, 2, 4, MP3 audio files, DiVX, DV, and more. Plus, non-video files can be stored in your portal as well. Store \ scripts, reviews, supporting documents, etc. J
